The Farmholidays Poggio degli Ulivi is placed in the southern part of Maremma Tuscany to little distance with the border of the Lazio region, near Alberese, fraction of Grosseto. The city of Grosseto, with its characteristic, historical centre and its medicean walls, is only 9km away from where we are, and just 5 minutes away is the village of Rispescia, where guests may find any necessary articles, and where there is also a well-stocked supermarket, a chemist, a bank with cash machine and a church.
The farmholidays is easy to catch up by car with 1,5 hours of travel from Rome and in 4,5 hours from Torino and Milan.
How to reach us for those arriving from the North:
Take the S.S. AURELIA towards Rome, pass the various Grosseto exits then, always keeping the Aurelia towards Rome, take the ALBERESE – RISPESCIA exit where you will also find a sign indicating our road VAllE MAGGIORE.
Follow the signs for VALLE MAGGIORE and once you enter this road, follow it all the way to the end, without ever leaving it.Arrived at a crossroads between two houses, turn left then follow the paved road and the signs for our Agriturismo Poggio degli Olive trees that you will find at every crossroads.
How to reach us for those coming from the South:
Along the Aurelia state road towards Grosseto, after the Banditella exit, exit at VALLE MAGGIORE and follow the signs for our farmhouse Poggio degli Ulivi.

RESERVATION AND PENALTIES FOR CANCELATION
All reservations will be valid only after sending the deposit, that shall be paid within 7 days from the request. The amount of the deposit, generally equal to 30% of the value of the booking made, will be communicated to you at the time of booking confirmation.
If you wish to cancel your booking, please do so as soon as possible and at least 20 days before the scheduled arrival . If we receive your request for cancellation of booking with at least 30 days’ notice before arrival, the confirmation deposit will be returned, otherwise, it will be retained by us and subject to availability check, it can be reused for another stay within the year.
Otherwise, you will still be refunded as long as it is possible to replace the period you booked.
ANTICIPATED CHECK OUT
If you wish to cancel your booking, please do so as soon as possible and at least 20 days before the scheduled arrival . If we receive your request for cancellation of booking with at least 20 days’ notice before arrival, the confirmation deposit will be returned.
We accept credit cards.
Weekly rentals are from Saturday 5 p.m. to saturday 10 a.m. For weekly and daily rentals check in time is 5 p.m. and check out time is 10 a.m.
CITY TAX
Tourist tax: Euro 1.50 per person per day, children up to 14 years of age are exempt.
Payment must be made, separately from the balance of the stay, upon check-in.
The tax has been in force since 1 June 2013; the daily amount will be applied for a maximum of 7 nights of stay.
